Knoxville Title Agency was founded in 2003 by attorney James G. “Jimmy” Rickman, who built the company on the belief that every closing deserves personal attention, steady communication, and trusted experience. What began as a single office has grown into a multi-location title agency serving clients across Tennessee and Kentucky.
Today, the company is led by Chase Reno and Brent Payne, who oversee daily operations and continued growth. Jimmy remains closely involved, serving as legal counsel and a trusted advisor.
We are in a season of expansion, adding to our team, extending our reach, and continuing to invest in the people and communities we serve. Our leadership is actively involved in local real estate and civic organizations because we believe strong partnerships and community engagement make us better at what we do.
With over 100 years of combined experience, our team handles purchases, refinances, and residential or commercial closings with precision and care. We coordinate with all parties involved to keep transactions moving and to give clients peace of mind from start to finish.

Jennifer Roche comes to Knoxville Title Agency with nearly two decades of experience spanning brokerage, title operations, law, government affairs, and public utilities.
Beginning her career as a Realtor® in 2007, she was named the first Rising Star of the East Tennessee Realtors. She later earned her law degree from The University of Tennessee Knoxville with a concentration in business transactions and became the inaugural Governmental Affairs Director for
East Tennessee Realtors, advocating on key policy issues impacting the industry.
Jen currently serves as a Program Manager at TVA, where she brings together her background in real estate, transactional law, commercial strategy, and public policy.
She has called East Tennessee her home for 20 years and is a proud mom of two wonderful daughters.
